Beginning today and ending with a draw on September 30, the Downtown Vernon Association is launching a new contest for Downtown Dollars. At the end of the month, the DVA will draw one lucky winner who will receive one of our new convenient and easy to use plastic gift cards.
How does the draw work and how much will the card be worth?
In order to enter the draw, from now until Sept. 29,

1) take a photo of yourself with your newest downtown Vernon expenditure,
2) post it on your FB or IG page and tag @downtownvernon
3) tell us what store you purchased the product or service from and we’ll automatically enter your name into the draw. All products or services from downtown Vernon businesses are eligible. View our website for a list of our businesses.

This means if you want to show off your new hair cut, you namaste-ing in a yoga class, you enjoying a gelato or simply holding up your newly painted ceramic vase, you’re in the draw as long as you tag @downtownvernon and mention the store! If you win the draw, you will receive a gift card valued at the same amount as your posted purchase which means you will get to do even more shopping in beautiful downtown Vernon (at participating businesses only). The winner will be announced on Sept. 30th using the DVA’s social media channels. Our new plastic Downtown Dollars are a great gift idea. You can put up to $500 on a card.
