Downtown Vernon | Partnership with Venture Training

Do you know about the Community Employment Program through the Vernon and District Association for Community Living (also known as Venture Training)? The initiative is designed to assist individuals with developmental disabilities to prepare, obtain, and maintain paid employment. The program aims to achieve independence and community participation for all of the people involved.

We are very proud to have the opportunity to partner with Venture Training for downtowns landscaping and maintenance for 2021. On Tuesday and Thursday mornings from April through October you will see the team out beautifying the primary and secondary BIA’s including the large flower beds and hanging baskets.
